WHAT IS DIAMAGNETIC THERAPY®?

All materials are influenced varyingly by the presence of a magnetic field.

		Permanent magnets have persistent magnetic fields caused by ferromagnetism. That is the strongest and most familiar type of magnetism.
		Paramagnetism is a form of magnetism where certain materials are attracted by an externally applied magnetic field.
		Diamagnetism is the property of an object or material that causes it to create a magnetic field in opposition to an externally applied magnetic field.

Water is a diamagnetic matter – which means that in the presence of a magnetic field, water moves in the opposite direction to the magnetic field. Bodily fluids consist of 70% water and are therefore subject to this principle.

The CTU-Mega 18 Diamagnetic Device is a non invasive treatment method without the use of electrical currents, thereby removing the collateral effects associated with other treatments.
The CTU-Mega 18 system generates very high intensity magnetic fields thus accelerating molecules away from the magnetic field.

This is done without using superconductors making it a smaller and more portable machine, and less expensive than magnetic therapy machines containing superconductors.
A high speed variation in the magnetic field (1 micro second) and the super short duration of the magnetic pulses (1 mili second) make for an efficient and sustained delivery system into the deep tissue region unlike any other physical therapy machines.

A study conducted by the National Association of Sports Medicine Specialists at G.D Annunzio University in Italy found that pharmacological treatments w ere intensified when delivered with the CTU-Mega 18 Diamagnetic Device.

The researchers found that the CTU-Mega 18 Diamagnetic Device is “an innovative system for the implant of pharmacological active molecules… allowing an active transport of a remarkable amount of molecules even to a depth of 12 cm”. (1)
There was also a clinical evaluation at the Professional Studio of Physiotherapy and Sportive Rehabilitation in Piacenza d’Adige , conducted on 132 patients with osteoarthritis (OA).

The patients had undergone cycles of treatment with the CTU-Mega 18 Diamagnetic Device for a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 12 sessions, according to the pathology. The first 4 sessions of the treatment were carried out with an interval of 5 days, the rest every 10 days. (2)
